Lisa Boom has been an active participant in the Internet revolution in Silicon Valley. She has direct experience in launching and managing start-up e-ventures, having worked for several successful California-based dotcoms.

Before co-founding eos, the Internet development company, Lisa was a Product Manager with WhoWhere? Inc., a startup in Silicon Valley which was acquired by Lycos in 1998. Lisa joined WhoWhere? in 1997 as the company's 32nd employee, where she launched and managed one of the leading web-based email products on the Internet, MailCity. During her tenure, Lisa launched 40 private label versions of MailCity, including iVillage Mail, The Globe Mail, and Mail Excite.

Before Lycos, Lisa was with another Silicon Valley start-up, Focalink (now known as AdKnowledge). She joined Focalink as Account Manager and Product Specialist (and employee number 15). There she was instrumental in the early development of SmartBanner, a web advertising management application.

Lisa began her career at Houston Herstek Favat Advertising in Boston working on technology accounts.

Lisa Boom holds a BA in Foreign Affairs, Spanish from the University of Virginia.
